Hello sheik Tijan, I thought you would be interested in the following story. A big Faalen who is well known to you(the biggest Faalen in Banjul), but whom I would refrain from naming was on a recent visit to Europe. After enjoying the hospitality of a Nyagen( Chicken 'benachin' speciality) for several days, he decided to take his leave for home. He lamented the fact that the only thing he will miss would be this dainty dish. He further added that he knows no one else who could prepare it this way, especially for facilitating easy chewing of the chicken bones. Guess what, He packed the cooking Pot in his Suitcase and left for Banjul, thinking that if they used the pot, it would help them make their benachin tastier. However, this is not a joke but a true story. If you want to know the person concerned, he is due to/has arrived in Banjul Thursday 1st February. Thanks Bro for keeping us informed of happenings back home.
