Has anyone kept a copy of the interviews printed in The Point with some of the students. I've lost the ones I saved on computer. What I'm actually looking for are newspaper articles written about the events that occurred that day. I live in Australia and the government here is denying such events occured as it was not covered in the media. I would also be interested in hearing the results of the meeting at the British Houses of Parliment later this month. If someone could email a copy of petitions that have been developed or letters informing governments about the situation in Gambia, I could try writing to the Australian government. Australia is a member of CHOGM and I believe Gambia is/was, so it might help a little bit. There are very few Gambians in Australia and most are fairly apolitical. The few wh o are interested in the politics of Gambia are nervous of putting their names to things on the net. Hence I decided I should try do something. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html You may also send subscription requests to [log in to unmask] if you have problems accessing the web interface and remember to write your full name and e-mail address. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
