Brother Kabir, I'm really glad that you're ok. I hope the storm has finally passed. I can understand your frustration with Mr. Mullah wannabe, but I won't sweat it. Remember the fellow who was acting like our resident Oustace here a while back? All the time he was here, he kept bombarding us with all types of religious postings: Allah said this; the prophet said that,... This, while keeping away from commenting on any of the degenerate things going on back home. But, unbeknown to the distro, he was sending private messages to the Devil's advocates like Essa Sey giving them moral support! To his chagrin, Essa did what comes natural to people in his gene pool: he betrayed the Mullah. I can't say I was really taken aback, because from my little experience, these "look how pious I am" types are ALL the SAME. Hypocrisy runs in their veins! They foolishly belief that a grey beard, thousand-beads chaplet, and white Kalla/Waramba combo translates into piety. Not a chance. Just fancy this whole Shariah thing going on down there. The so-called pious people -Iman A, Alhaji X, Aji Y, Prez of Islamic ZZ, Sec Gen of Islamic ABC, etc are rallying around Yaya Jammeh for his Shariah call, when if truth be told, most of them and Yaya Jammeh in particular, would be in serious trouble if any such law is enforced impartially. Many of them never say a word about any of the civic rights abuse going on, but continue to tell us who's in Allah's favor and who's not. I don't know how anyone could be pious, and yet have a problem defending the truth. And they wonder why so many people are put off by religion bandying. Some of us feel very comfortable among the ranks of the ungodly. Thanks for dropping us a note. Take care. Saul. >Kabir, again you have called it in a way only you know how. Your postings >are always a source of inspiration for me.
