Thanks all (Abdoulaye, Conteh, Edrissa, Lameen, Ousainou, Dampha, and others) for your pioneering in this effort.  I pledge $100 towards this effort.  On the issue of the collection point for the money, I have two suggestions.  I can collect the money and that's no problem.  However, I was wondering whether Karamba, Sophie, and others are willing to collect the money as they did during our April Massacre Fund Drive.  In addition, D.C. could be a good location to collect the money because of our numbers in that area and their proactive stance in the struggle for a better Gambia.  They are also planning to invite reps from the various political parties, an occasion we could also capitalize on to solicit funds from other folks who did not have a chance to contribute.  So, the floor is open for suggestions.  Let's spread the word around in our various cities.

On a slightly different note, we should also start thinking about what we want to spend this money on, or the criteria on which we wish to give it to the parties.  I look forward to your opinions on these suggestions.
