Saul, We cannot forge the way forward without giving each other room to grow. If we are serious about removing the APRC and Jemus from power, prosecute them for the atrocities they've inflicted on our people during their very bloody tenure in office; when soldiers were assassinated and students massacred in broad daylight, we have to make a better presentation. And when i say better i mean in all aspects. Hamjatta or anyone of us should not jump on the slightest deviation people make and start hurling insults at them. In the opposition, we should be able to convince each other not terrorize each other to succumb. Why should Hamjatta read only 'hisses and foot-stampings' like he is refering to kindergaten kids crying for sweets? Why can't he appreciate the broader picture. That we are not the enemy here, but comrades making simple observations. Yet, Hamjatta expects his words to be devine and from the heavens. Harona, Yus and myself are just names that came to mind. Saul, my brother i would love to see you or Dampha lead our country if you are willing to do that. You have leadership qualities in you(and like all humans you have your weaknesses). But with the Hamjattas around, you can easily challenge Jemus' record! I have absolutely nothing against the brother(Hamjatta) or anyone of you for that matter. The APRC must go come October Yaya Jammeh,Yankuba Touray, Sanna Sabally & Edward Singhateh should be prosecuted Forward with honest camaraderie Minos >From: saul khan <[log in to unmask]> >Reply-To: The Gambia and related-issues mailing list ><[log in to unmask]> >To: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Re: On The Original Voter Buyout Theory >Date: Wed, 23 May 2001 19:15:00 -0000 > >Mr. Sanyang, > >I have an eerie feeling that there's more to this than I know, so I >wouldn't >want to complicate matters any further.
