All, below is an update of our election fund. Only $40 has been added since my last update from almost three weeks ago. Folks the opposition is cash strapped and if we want them to win we have to support them financially.  I had the opportunity to talk to Halifa Sallah, Hamat Bah, and Ousainou Darboe and they need our support, financially and otherwise.  As you already know, due to circumstances beyond my control, we were unable to discuss the concerns you'll raised regarding the fund drive with the opposition, at the conference.  Please let us start discussing this important issue.  I urge the political parties to join in the debate too.  It is through communication that we can this job done.  Here is where you can send in your donations: The Gambian Association of Chicago, P.O.Box 3324, Oak Park IL 60303-3324.  Put my name on the check or money order, Joseph Sambou and purpose on the memo section.  Thanks to all those who donated and I hope others will follow on their footsteps.
