Saul, Sorry for this late response. I meant to tell you earlier how a powerful a statement you made on this subject. Regardless of the isolated and rather unfortunate bad remarks you received, you should take comfort in the fact that when it comes to "saying like it's" you have been always unrelenting. As you said people who read these postings are capable of making their deductions. We must never again settle for mere mediocrety. It was that tendency in the past that that brought us Yaya Jammeh. The beginning point is for us to learn to admire our individual talents and achievements. This implies that everyone on this list and elsewhere has his or her own unique talents which may or may not be displayed. This is a form of tolerance and understanding that any collectivity requires to function. So, for talents that can be read on the list lets appreciate them even where we disagree with ideas being advanced. Take the example of calling some of hamjata's postings as plagiarizing. This first shows that the person does not understand what it is to plagirize and second has no idea about the trends of thought that undepin the brother's writings. Even if one assumes that he indeed plagized-which was unfounded- , he should be admired for a lucid display of somebody elses intellectual property. I am saying this only to show how intolerance can constipate our own thinking. Let's move away from debating to "win" to debating to "understand" Finally, brother Saul continue the good work.
