 PUBLIC MEETING IN LONDON

The meeting will provide an opportunity for the Party to present an update of the situation on the ground in the Gambia in the run-up to the forthcoming Presidential and National Assembly Elections.

 

It will also offer Gambians in the UK the chance to hear what alternative programmes the UDP has for the Gambia if they win the coming elections, and about the prospect for a broadbase Alliance of all the Opposition Parties to contest the elections on a common political platform.

 

ACCESS: Regents Community Hall is accessible via POWNALL Road, which is off QUEENSBRIDGE Road in Hackney.

 

BUSES: 236, 26.

 

Bus 236 will bring you directly to the hall. Bus 26 will drop you off at the junction of Pownall Road and Queensbridge Road and it is a short walk to Brougham Road.

 

All buses going to Dalston Junction, and to Mare Street (Hackney Town Hall) will bring you to the vicinity and directions can be sought from these points.
