Mr Jamba Jobe,

I'm sorry to butt in this discussion.  I find it very disturbing the manner you use to address Hamjatta.  I have no doubt that Saiks will not or have not addressed Hamjatta in such a manner.  It seems to me that you are driven by an unnecessary vitriol towards my friend.

Saiks is a Koto i first encountered in the 80s and  he is someone i respect and have always admired and i am very impressed by his debate with Hamjatta.  Hamjatta, i have come to know and find very intelligent and hard working. Please use decorum in dealing with your fellow person.

I am a believer in social justice for everyone and opportunity for everyone (reason why i sympathise with PDOIS), but one thing i do know Marx was indeed a racist.  He was very deep in justifying the colonization of the so-called 'dark races' in order for them to evolve from their primitive ways.  Marx viewed non-whites with contempt and disdain.  I do not profess to understand Marxism or whatever but i am certain that i want to live in a Gambia where everyone can be given a chance to develop their potential. The sooner the APRC regime goes the sooner such a dream comes true.

Hamjatta, keep up the pursuit for intellectual clarity.  I admire your drive and as i always say to you here or in person or on the phone, you have great potential and i wish you all the best.

Hope Mr Jamba Jobe ,  you will not take this personal.

regards,

Mboge
