Ebrima and Baba Galleh, The following mail sent to the St. John's List Owners mailing list explains that Ebrima and others are not the only ones affected by mails being rejected by the List Server. Momodou ------- Forwarded message follows ------- Date sent: Mon, 16 Jul 2001 10:30:19 +0100 Subject: unexplained rejection messages I wonder if anyone can help with the following little frustrating problem: On one of the lists I am involved with managing people (including myself) keep getting a rejection message, several hours after successfully sending the message to the list, that says 'Your message is being returned to you unprocessed because it appears to have already been distributed to the USUPPORT list.......' My questions about this are: 1. Why is this happening? 2. How do I stop it? I can understand such a rejection message occurring if two messages that are the same get sent to the listserv however in this case only one message is being sent - which appears to be being circulated as normal. cheers -- Neil ------- End of forwarded message ------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html You may also send subscription requests to [log in to unmask] if you have problems accessing the web interface and remember to write your full name and e-mail address. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
