O.J Security Threat To The Nation - Yankuba Touray Yankuba Touray, the Tourism and Culture secretary has viewed that the opposition, of late, are becoming a security threat to the nation going by their utterances and the way they spread lies around town. SOS Touray was speaking at a rally organised by the women wing of the APRC over the weekend at Kombo, Wellingara. He also stated that the democracy of the ruling party was to bring about development to the nation by building schools, heath centres, skill training centres and to increase agriculture for the farmers to benefits from their products, he said since they took over in 1994 a Commission of Inquiry was set and that nobody was killed and in other countries instead of that a military tribunal will be set and anybody found guilty of committing a crime must be killed. According to Touray the opposition are now accusing President Jammeh of doing this and that at Kaninlai when ex-president Jawara has done nothing at his home town Barajally but when he Yankuba has money he will construct his home town Nawl rather than in Europe. However he also stated that if OJ was going to contest an election and he when taken to Court and questioned about all the bad mal-practice he has done to the nation the talk in town will be plenty and now he is threatening to bring back President Jawara by force which means a big threat to the security of the nation. SOS Touray who was applauded by his supporters finally alleged that OJ is a security threat to the nation and should be careful of what he is saying because they are security minded. He also predicted that OJ was planning something for the nation and if not the oppositions want to do something for him and should therefore mind his words because he is an elderly person, he warned. 'If there is any problem in the country he can't escape it and he must be questioned abut it which he should understand, and if anything happened at his side he will be arrested," he said. Other speakers at the rally included Aja Junko Sowe, Jaye Jobe, Alhagie Yerro Sanyang and Aja Binta Kanyi and it was attended by many APRC supporters _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html You may also send subscription requests to [log in to unmask] if you have problems accessing the web interface and remember to write your full name and e-mail address. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
