Its so amazing that our Senegalese neighbors who are much more bigger than us both in size and populace, and have a much more complex political system, were able to come together to defeat Diouf yet Gambians can’t. Why can’t the Gambia, which is almost 20 times smaller than Senegal with a population almost 7 times less, come together for the betterment of all? What we are seeing going on in the opposition front is a reflection of us all, we are just too nice and passive and have sat long enough letting these politicians and whoever is in a position of power trample over us and dictate our lives and futures as if we are irrelevant compared to their much more relevant and important political aspirations. It looks to me that these politicians are much more concerned about who gets to be president than getting rid of Yahya. From the sign of things it looks like Yahya has another five yrs free rent at the state house compliments of our selfish politicians. If this opposition coalition fails and Yahya wins the elections, I hope these politicians pay hell for it, I hope they all rot in hell.
