Jabou, Greetings from Savannah! You've made your stance known on several occasions, and I clearly understand your views. Rather than fence-sitting, some of us have simply decided to focus on what matters instead of going back-and-forth on this Jawara/PPP matter. Our common goal is to end dictatoship and establish democracy in The Gambia! Nothing will change my position that Jawara was bad for the Gambia, and Jammeh is even worse. The Gambia deserves better! I think there's still hope for a broader alliance (including all the opposition parties--PPP, UDP, PDOIS, NRP, NCP, PDP) that could get us to the type of Gambia that many of us envision. Amadou SJ "Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass" (J. Meyer). _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html You may also send subscription requests to [log in to unmask] if you have problems accessing the web interface and remember to write your full name and e-mail address. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
