I was led to believe that whenever a minister resigns voluntarily, the President out of courtesy will issue a statement expressing his profound regret to lose such a dedicated minister and thanking him or her for serving The Gambian people. This was certainly the case, when Aunty Satang Jow resigned from the APRC Government. Unfortunately, in the case of Sedat Jobe, it seems his resignation letter was received without hestitation. So the case has been proven that he (Dr Sedat Jobe) was forced to resign. Have a wonderful day.
