Prince

I just got back from Chicago (attended ISNA conference ) with dr Sulayman Nyang and Prof Ali Marzui..

Yesterday I tried to go to Washington park but after two hours of a futile circles I missed the soccer Games between the Gamians in the mid west

Detroit beat the best Gambian team by luck -Penalty kicks - maybe Joe Sambou can update us on the less experienced Detroit team 's victory. I undersatnd that it was getting dark and they settled for penalty kicks ?

I was told babmal was there too  but I missed all the show.

Regards

Habib Diab Ghanim

Better luck next time Chicago

>England have trashed Germany 5-1 in Munich. This is the worst defeat Germany have ever suffered at home since the 6-0 defeat by Austria in 1936. The year 2001 could be considered as the year "the game" turned upside down. Liberia (whose FA was formed by mainly Gambians in the late 60's, with Koto Ousman(?) Touray from Gunjur as the first Liberian FA President) had "one foot" in a World Cup. Brazil is struggling and even Honduras have won from Brazil and Iceland dented Czechia's hope. Yes, and I am aware of the fact that Holland will not be in the next World Cup, but since WE, the Senegalese, are going, I am content with whatever is going.
>I am sure Ebrima Ceesay will never forget the FIRST OF SEPTEMBER 2001, even when all the goals for England where scored by Liverpool players.
>Ebrima, Amadou Kabir, and all you Gunners: was there any Arsenal player in the field?
