George,

thank you very much for putting this Tombong issue in perspective.  I wish  him all the hell in this world and the hereafter.  I have no sympathy for cowards and hypocrites like Tombong and his likes.  May he wallow in his new predicament till eternity.

My sympathy and prayers are with the Gambian folk who have been forced to accept another five years with Jammeh. My sympathies are with good and able journalists like Peter Gomez who lost his job for no apparent reason.  My sympathies are with Baboucarr Gaye, George Christiansen and all those Gambians who suffer the brunt of Yahya's bullying.

I have no time for emasculated men like Tombong (wife biter) Saidy.  It is not out heroism and bravery that Tombong announced his sacking on the L.  He was trying to pre-empt out reactions knowing that it will be public knowledge sooner or later.

And finally, i have the hunch that Bora Mboge will not be any better than his predecessor.  I believe he will surppass Tombong in making the GRTS the mouthpiece of Jammeh and the APRC.

regards,

Mboge
