Malik and Joe: Thanks for the memories. I remember those Box Bar days, especially the ant infested area directly across from the main stands. If there was anything that discouraged me for hanging in the cheap section, it was those dastardly ants. However, like true soccer fans, we braved the ant menace out there just to watch the games. Also, come to think of it, I never really considered that Biri was already in his 30s during the Zone II tourney. This makes his heroics during the tourney and after all the more remarkable. By the time he retired, he was almost 40 and still going strong. I think it would be apt for some buddding Gambian film student or GRTS to actually make a documentary on the life of the greatest Gambian player ever. (No pun intended, Joe). :) Yus <<//\\>>//\\<<//\\>>//\\<<//\\>>//\\<<//\\>>//\\<<//\\>> To view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] <<//\\>>//\\<<//\\>>//\\<<//\\>>//\\<<//\\>>//\\<<//\\>>
