Thank you Buharry for such a wonderful and eloquent piece. My thanks also goes to Yus for contribution to the debate. I am sure none of us would like to see the status quo change. I hope others will also give their opinions as this is a very contentious issue. This is particularly so when considers the fact that there seems to be a growing tendency of asserting religion, particularly Islam, in Africa. It has happened in both The Sudan and Nigeria.
