friends
some sad news from home.
I just got word from a friend of mine about a tragic river estuary  accident last night  and the sinking of a boat from Banjul to Barra with over one hundred victims . Rescue came from sister boats from barra but not in time to save many. who had panicked while their boat was partially submerged. This friend of mine was lucky he decided to sleep in banjul after missing the last ferry. According to him , there are many confirmed deaths in RVH and Essau Clinic. The figures are not yet know until daylight comes but it is estimated to be over one dozen including nuimi women and some senegalese traders.
May their souls rest in peace

When will there be a good and reliable ferry boat form Banjul to Barra
or  when we have a bridge built ?  (the only solution to this old  problem )
