Gamcel, Gamtel's subsidiary cellular phone company with almost 35,000 customers in less than a year of operation has introduced roaming with Senegal. Other countries are to follow soon.

Africell, customer base I do not know has started a nationwide coverage. I belive it also has a roaming agreement with Senegal. Many commentators believe that Africell has a customer base of atleast 20,000.

Both cellular companies operate a GSM 900 series.
