Bamba Laye,

Thanks for the forward. Many of us have no idea what section 508 means. It at least throws some light on the issue of what this normalisation of relations could mean for the country.

Joe, Beran and Lekbi,

This move is very encouraging as it tends to give some credence to some of the recent events in our country. I am sure this new partnership can achieve more for all of us than the brinkmanship of the past. The government needs to continue on this path of reconciliation and tolerance. The opposition and private media should also review their stance and educate us on the shortcomings of the government rather than looking for things to embarass the government. This way, there will be more trust on both sides thus enabling us to put some of the unpleasant happenings of the past behind us.

Have a good day, Gassa.
