Better now than ever > cooperation and understanding featuring better Gambia and willingness of her people to commit intellectually

While people thanks for enlighning my knowledge on the above issue. I am living with some colleages here in Finland who lived in Egypt and during our conversations the topic of Bilal came up. However, non of this guys have ever seen the grave but were told that the grave is in Egypt. I got an information from them aswell that sometime if they are praying in the mosque some ignorance will tell them oh why are you people(blacks) praying hence you are going to hell anyway.

Contrary to what Dave has just posted, The Prophet have done some effort in finding him a wife. Again, having more than one wife, did he have any children with them?  Why are we THE BLACKS taken as slaves? was there ever any Arab slaves or white slaves? Has bilal ever written a Hadiths? We need to have some meaning as BLACKS in every religion that we are participating. It is clear that both Islam and Christians culture take us as only slaves not believers of the same religion like theirs due to cultural difference.

My colleages also protested the fact that any Arab woman married to a black, might be a singer or a prostitute who will never married to any normal Arab. On the other hand, a black person can married to a very honourable family member in a white society.

Again looking back to our own cultures, How did Serign Tubba Bai Faal etc came to an existance? Is it not sensible to say those people are the ones with our vasion of Islam? Just suggesting. Sometime I use to have a strong believe that, the religion for us was that of Murrit, Bia faal, Njasan, traditions and cultures etc. Three we can clearly see the meaning of blackness faraway from slaves. Again thanks to everyone who participated with their precious times on the issue.
