Folks,

The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) has launched a new website for The Gambia's Roots Home Coming Festival. It is at www.rootsfestival.gm. It has a lot of information about the festival and other background information. Please enjoy.

Brusubi Housing Scheme - Phase 2.

Those of you who've sent me private emails requesting for more information about the second phase of the Brusubi Housing project, please note that this time around, there are two types of forms costing D100.00 and D150.00 respectively and available from the Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC). They can be contacted on (220) - 228589, 229813 and 227698.

Of the two forms, the one costing D150.00 is for people who have the cash to buy, those whose employers are willing to buy for them and Gambians in the Diaspora. This is the form that you need in order to be considered for a plot. The form must be obtained, filled and returned to the SSHFC not later than 14th June 2002.

Baks,

You're welcome to criticise my view of things as much as you want. What I do not like is bringing into the issue personal stuff like my job or whatever. That does not help the debates but instead clouds them. No hard feelings.

Have a good day, Gassa.

There is a time in the life of every problem when it is big enough to see, yet small enough to solve. -Mike- Levitt-
