I wish to congratulate Pa Sallah Jeng and other independent candidates, all of whom I call candidates of conscience. God speed.

We must not forget candidates who were denied participation by the NIA or Baaba Jobe. I wish to thank at least one community in Banjul who rebuffed Yankuba's attempts at coercion.

May God bless The Gambia - Let justice guide our actions.
