Habib,

What I also did not fail to notice is that in all Arab states where protests/demonstartions took place nowhere did the leaders come out to join the masses except in Libya where Ghadaffi was at the forefront as always. Most of his most fiery speeches over the years have been directed exactly against Zionism and American imperialism, and yes, against his own Arab brothers for being such sissies. The result? Framed and branded as terrorist over the years and islolated with the help of marionette Arab leaders.

It is the term terrorist/terrorism that should be revisited and redefined. The "West" should not have a monopoly on our vocabulary, to twist and turn according to their whims and caprices. Just as Pa Samba mentioned earlier, near-Saints like Mandela were once terrorists according to these double-tongued vampires who prey on vulnerable people, sucking the blood/life out of them. The story is so old, you sometimes wonder why people continue to buy it. Whenever I hear the song about democracy and human rights I want to puke.

Whenever real leaders stand up and speak for their people, they are "dictators", "terrorist" or what have you? But when puppet leaders toe the line, well, these "civlised nations" look the other way even if they commit murder on a daily basis. The Arab world must wake up from its slumber and realise that it is a giant to be reckoned with. Just look at how all "Western" countries rally round the US whenever the need to close ranks arises whiles they craftily choreograph songs on the sidelines about recognising human rights, bla, bla, at the same time.

I can assure you that they have it in the works to deliver one blow that will set back the Arab world, militarily and otherwise many years back because it is here they perceive a real threat to their world hegemony.

Regards,

Kabir.
