Jainaba Bah: Like you, i have no time for tittle-tattle. I'm literally snowed under with far more important stuff that leaves little or no time to minutely and forensically examine what you do with yourself. It is your prerogative to defend Sarjo; it is instinctively the natural thing to come out of you or one which many would expect of you in the event your husband is the butt of critical opnion - this, however, is/was never the point; it is an improvisatory digression and a red-herring. The point is the degree to which we rationalise, tolerate and even ignore personal failings and human frailties we know are in people who occupy instruments of influence and object to them being the butt of critical opinion if they err - in the function of their public duties. To attempt to craftily package this under the guise of the no-go-area of the private realm, which you are entitled to like everyone else, is disingenuous. More importantly, i don't think that that augurs well for a decent society we all profess to see the Gambia become one day. _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
