In his remarks, the chairman of the club Momodou S. R Kujabi said after some time of appraisal 'we decided to take up the initiative of establishing the society in the college to give us the opportunity to also play a pivotal role as teachers they will be educating the young to care and respect the integrity of all human beings irrespective of physical disability'. He added that their main objective is to transform disabled youths from being objects of scorn and pity and to also protect the disabled from social and moral abuse by others taking advantage of their disability. He said facilitating and co-coordinating a holistic approach by stakeholders in the implementation of issues concerning disabled youths during decision making and ensuring that disabled youths receive equal basic education, training and skills are also part of the agenda.
