Ebou, thanks for your thoughts and I agree. Mafy is a decent individual and I know he knows the right thing to do. However, to be in Jammeh's cabinet also means that you part ways with your integrity. You do things not because it's the right thing or the best thing for the nation, but because masser Jammeh says so. How many times have we seen seemingly intelligent folk utter statements that we all know, all things equal, they would not even think of saying even after 20 pints of rum. Remember Che Yassin, Sedat, and the list goes on. Look at the soon to be signed Media (Muzzle) Bill, and see all the APRC NAMs support it, Bakary Njie, and Lord knows who else behind the scenes is championing it. You cannot think and be in his cabinet. His recipe for governance is "Sembo Ni Nyaa Kuyaa" (crude interpretation, force couple with narrow mindedness).
