I am glad that opposition voted against this draconian and undemocratic bill. This bill goes further to demonstrate Jammeh's illegal tactics of gaging the Gambian press. I aslo hope that those who feel impressed by Jammeh's rule will take note of his antics. The bottom line is Jammeh is a vicious dictator who has never been interested in democracy or anything close to it.

I will encourage the press to relentlessly continue to protest this draconian bill.
