Mr Njie, The point I was trying to make is that no forum will be worthwhile without regualr postings of different individuals with different points of views. I have been a member of the L since geez god knows when and I will confess that I have been among the 'silent' majority. I have regulaly read and seldom responded to most of the postings--I am not politically inclined and perhaps not sound enough to enter into political debates that ensued for the most part. I was never in agreement with the 'double standards' often displayed by list management but since there was no alternative I was stuck with the L. I enjoyed postings by everyone be it anti or pro Jammeh and got 'pissed off' when I saw the willy nilly delistment..So to tell you that I was glad when the post came to existence will be putting it mildly. I have dual membership to use your own words but let's face it, how many postings a day do you get from the L?..All I want is to see a good forum where healthy discussions can take place!..It's as simple as that and I will retract my statement that the L failed--perhaps that was a bad choice of words. Once again, I am sorry if I offended anyone but reality is reality and cannot be changed..As far as profanity goes, you be the judge!...Just do unto others as you would like done unto you. Take care bro! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
