This is absolutely incorrect, at least from the parallel market in Sere Kunda or London corner (Bambo Junction). I do not know where you got your figures from but I can categorically tell you that the Dalasi to Dollar rate pre-1994 coupe, was more than D13.50 and is less than D19.00, at least by this weekend. I know this 'cause I only changed some Dollars on Saturday and also changed Dollars before and immediately after the coupe. I can fully remember when the former AFPRC regime increased airport tax to $10.00, D150.00 or the equivalent of ten pounds sterling in other foreign currencies. Therefore the Dollar changing for less than D10.00 in 1994 is not correct and the Dollar changing for more than D20.00 right now is also not correct.

Have a good day, Gassa.
