Senegal's left-sided midfielder Khalilou Fadiga has attracted interest from three big European clubs, according to the French daily L'Equipe.

Fadiga, who plays for French club Auxerre, is headed to either Arsenal, Inter Milan or Bordeaux, according to the newspaper.

The Paris-born set-piece specialist, who helped the west Africans through to the second round of the World Cup tournament, moved to Auxerre last year from Belgium.

Fadiga played a key role in Senegal's shock win over World Champions France on the opening day of the World Cup and was named man of the match when Senegal drew 1-1 with Denmark in Daegu last Thursday.

But he will miss the Dakar Lions' second-round tie with the winners of Group F after picking up a second yellow card against Uruguay for time wasting.

Fadiga's club career
'92-94 - Red Star '93 (France)
'94-97 Standard Liege (Belgium)
'97-'01 Club Brugges (Belgium)
'01-? Auxerre

Meanwhile, team-mate Alassane Ndour, who played his first World Cup match on Tuesday against Uruguay, is likely to move to Sedan or Lille in the French first division from second division St Etienne.

Two other Senegalese World Cup protagonists, Salif Diao and El Hadji Diouf, have already signed for English Premier League club Liverpool.
