Afrinat International Airlines, though African owned, is based in The USA. Its West African Manager is Aja Joko Fatou Bojang and according to her, Afrinat would be plying the Banjul - New York route twice weekly beginning July 16, 2002.

There is also a weekly charter flight by Amana Air Charter that arrives in Banjul from New York at 07.00 hours and leaves for New York at 0.800 hours GMT. I have no idea how long this would continue, at least for now.

Concerning the Banjul - London Gatwick route by Red Air, this Airline departs Banjul for London Gatwick on Mondays (13.00 hours) and Thursdays (13.00 hours) and returns to Banjul from London Gatwick on Mondays (22.00 hours) and Fridays (22.00 hours).

I hope it sheds more light into these two routes by these airlines.

Have a good day, Gassa.
