Yayha

I beg to differ it is not only wrong but he is also misleading  you
. Beware  of all you hear and do your research before you take it as gospel truth.  Go back to the source - the holy Quran and only  the authentic hadiths- check it out yourself and deduce  your findings.

I have heard all kinds of stories like these in the name of Islam . I can give  you specific examples

-like you can not pray with your underwear on as it may be unclean ( urine traces or something similar-

it is just like what one young imam said  if you do not grow your  beard you are not a muslim , my question ti him was what about many people in Afriica  who do not have  facial hair - Are you a better muslim because you have a beard?

many of these kinds are then taken by the likes of the southern Baptist Ministerwho  use it as a waepon againgt all mmuuslims. He does not know tthat the prophet's so called wives were merely legal dependents not for sexual purposes as the so called rev wants the wotld to believe. He only had khadijah and later Aisha as his real partners.

Another wild example from another Malaysian is that if you have a non halal food on a plate you should wash it in MUD seven times before you can reuse it. So if you order fish from a hotel then  it is still haram according to this man as the hotel did not wash their plates with MUD (potto potto) 7 times .

We must not let a minority of fanatics in the likes of Osama bin Laden high Jack us with their narrow minded and one sided views. Who told Imam fatty that watching football is wrong  . He misinterpreted the shorts the  men wear as the problem  but these soccer players were not praying they were playing. I am sure when they were praying they wore the appropriate clothing.

One in Saudai said women do not have to pray in the masjid or even at home  - where is it written / Remember  women are equal to men in the eyes of God so what is this distinction . I can understand that during the menstrual period  quite well but  many women went to pray during EID prayers even while menstruating ( for for the joy of the celebration) It is permissible for that day.

I can go on with some other  silly examples but I am sure you get the gist of what I   am trying to say.
