Habib, Thanks, and my sister and her husband's flight out of NY was cancelled by Ghana airways after they got there. They said they did not have enough people which does not soud possible. They had to re-route to Baltimore and spend days waiting for the Sunday flight. This new airline has flights to West Africa ( various stops including Banjul) every day it looks like, with direct flights to Banjul twice a week. Something like this was long overdue, and the investors are right on the money if they give good customer service and avoid the usual nonsense of over-booking and too much luggage one encountered with Air Afrique and now Ghana Airways it seems. It is best to visit their website because the air fares are different in the busy season according to what i saw there. http://afrinat.com/index.htm Jabou Joh In a message dated 6/11/2002 3:25:57 PM Central Daylight Time, [log in to unmask] writes: > Joe > > Thier number is 1866 FLY 7111 round trip $850 to banjul from NY > > bus class $2500.00They leave from JFK at noon(US time) and arrive in Banjul > 3.15 pm GMT on tuesdays > > , Saturdays thursdays and mondays are different times but in the same > range with no layovers > > Baboucarr Sey commonly known as BC with the Dc NY transportation mini bus > can give you more details as he deals with them. i got this info from him > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
