This news is indeed very sad. I am just back from the Gambia last wednesday, and it was only the saturday before, that I went to visit Assan at the RVH where he was hospitalised.
My hearthfelt condolence goes to his wife, my niece, Fatou Mbye and the entire Mbye, Secka, Njie and the extended family in Gambia and abroad.
May God show him mercy, amen.
