DAKAR, July 19 (AFP) - Ministerial teams from Senegal and Gambia have
ended
a row over river ferry fares which had blocked road traffic between the two
west African nations for days, official sources said Friday

Well, this is good news. The Gambia cannot afford any kind of blockage like this, and again, it is the people who will suffer. I would not be surprised if this rogue government of our is looking to get their hands on additional funds any way they can by coming up with these kinds of increases in fees for goods and services. Perhapos Jammeh can raise funds by cutting down on the exhorbitant spending sprees such as the private jets and per diem that his wife and entourage take to fly all the way to Washington just os his baby can  make routine visits to a pediatrician. This dame president would appear before the World community in conferences to alleviate poverty and hunger in Africa, and this same president will do all he can to scramble for AID dollars from the donor community and where then will that AID money end up?
