Habib: I don't believe Waa can be bought. From what I gathered of him from our recent symposium in Atlanta (btw, my first meeting of him), he came across very principled and dedicated to the course. On a different note, your girl Cynthia Mckinney is feeling the heat. The republicans are urging their supporters to cross party lines and vote for Denise Majette in the primaries. Farrakhan, is reported to be in town this weekend on a "get the vote out" campaign. The old civil rights guards (Young, Bond, the Kings, etc) are also out for her. This may be a tough one for her to pull! >From: Habib Ghanim <[log in to unmask]> >Reply-To: The Gambia and related-issues mailing list ><[log in to unmask]> >To: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Re: QUOTE OF THE DAY >Date: Fri, 16 Aug 2002 15:51:02 +0000 > _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
