My comment looking at the conflict from outside is, that this is TYPICAL. Instead of concentrate on the question raised, you counter-attack and use (misuse) the system to get rid of critics, opponents. Why is it that the party-members now are more interested in the personal thing (JUWARA-DARBOE) than in knowing if the money is safe ? If there is a call for the UDP executive, why not at the same time let the executive come out with a clear exact declaration on the money-issue. I think the party-members need to know, if the parties accounts and money is there for the leaders private and personal use, are they free to do what they like. I am still not saying that Darboe has got/lend the money. But I am not impressed that the only prove till now is that he has denied it in an interview with BBC. Where is his "interview"/confrontation with trusted members of the party. Why not let 10 random selected ordinary party-members together with the congress-elected accountants take a look in the accounts and the books, and make a statement. Mayby I´m naive, but I hope in a democratic organisation that the elected accountants have the free right to inspect the accounts whenever they like, feel it is necessary or are invited to. Let the party members get the answer of the Juwara accusations, before the executive decide on his membership. To me the degree of his LOYALTY has something to do if his accusations are right or wrong. If he is right I think he is very loyal to the party that he came out with his knowledge, then you can question if he should have done it another way. But if he is wrong, his motives, loyalties are so that I think that the party may consider his membership.
