ABIDJAN, Sept 20 (AFP) - The wife of former Ivory Coast military ruler Robert Guei who died in a violent coup attempt in the west African country on Thursday, has been found dead, an informed source said Friday. Rose Doudou Guei was "killed by a bullet to the head" and was "probably killed in her house," the source said. She had also been shot once in the leg, according to the source. The body of Fabien Coulibaly, Guei's aide-de-camp, has also been found in Abidjan, the economic hub of the west African country, witnesses said earlier Friday. They said Coulibaly's near-nude and bullet-riddled body was found in a ditch with four other corpses. "They were executed. Captain Fabien was riddled with bullets. He was disfigured," a witness, speaking on condition of anonymity, told AFP. Guei, who staged Ivory Coast's first military coup in December 1999, was found dead in Abidjan on Thursday after the outbreak of a bloody army mutiny, which the authorities have said was a coup bid masterminded by the former military leader. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
