Joe please do not get me wrong on my stance which is and will be the same as far as i am concern. I have never ever said there is no corruption in the Gambia neither do i ever said i am fully supporting Yahya's regime. What I use to say is the fact that, there are some development in the Gambia compare to the previous regime. I am for the Gambia and her people now and forever. In mentaining that, I will not contradict myself but guide my stance as always.Joe I "might not be" as cleaver as you are but I always know what I am saying.since the independence of the Gambia, there has been only two governments and the comparison should be based on their efforts. However, Mr Sambou, all African presidents are the same regarding corruption and mismanagement, but they can be different in a sense, when they are making some difference towards the development of their people and moreover, to stamp out those mismanagements and corruption practices touches my emotion because mandating all African presidents to agree on those terms and condition could help to reinstate the trust others loose on making business with Africa.

I will need proofs my friend Joe, to believe on other's speculation and that does never mean i am supporting the other party. As I alway point out that, (THE PROOF OF THE PUDDING IS FROM THE EATING).For an example, if Lamin was your friend then became mind, Your critism to Lamin should not make me turn against him without reason, as well if you are criticising Yahya, show me a proof by qouting his yearly earnings in comparison to his spendings but not insulting him or others will cost for my money.

Have a good weekend

Edi, thanks for forwarding us this article from the BBC.  As one of the
supporters of Yaya and his regime, I hope you also see him in this ugly
picture that you forwarded.  He has all the symptoms that you described,
yet, you are the first to say that you have no proof that he is looting us
dry.  The truth shall set you free.  Look closely, for some of the poor
souls in the below picture may be your and my mother, aunt, or sister.
