Happy Greeting Season to all. This is a serious issue and I believe it is high time a strong umbrella organisation of some sort is formed to protect the interest of Gambia. There should be one in the USA, one in Scandanavia and then one in every European country. Numbers are there to support such an organisation financially. Such an organisation should be apolitical and I think all Gambians, especially those in the diaspora are in the same both. Since September 11th, the immiragration, especially, in the USA have been cracking down on both legal and illegal immigrants.

Just two days ago, a Gambian was killed in Sweden. This and other killings and detentions are enough reason for such organisation to be form and monies contributed to help Gambians.
