Momodou Camara Copenhagen - Denmark Ex-Minister Dies The Daily Observer (Banjul) NEWS January 29, 2003 Posted to the web January 29, 2003 By Foday Kamara Banjul Kebba Jawara, a former minister in the deposed PPP Government passed away in the United States last Sunday, January 26. According to family sources, Mr Jawara travelled to the United States on December 15, 2002 on holiday. "We were expecting him back on Monday when, all of a sudden, we heard of his death on the same day at around 5am," said a family member. Sources further revealed that though he was about 70 years old, Jawara did not show any sign of ill health on his departure for the United States. Family members are presently busy arranging for the body to be flown back home on Ghana Airways next Monday. He will be buried in his home town, Bansang.
