Ousman

Both you and sister Jabou have your minds made up so no matter waht anyone says your opinions will not be basically changed just qualified .

I come to her defense not because I do not support getting rid of the jackass Saddam but for fear or the backlash and mass deaths that will hapeen to Iraqis , American and others in the area. Sdaly as we all know it was the USA who gave Saddam all the chemical weapons he either posseses or is hiding. His Uncle Sam helped him kill his own folks  but now the gun is facing the west and voila.

I never have and never will support anything Saddam does. He was sick since childhood (as a teenager Saddam used to poison his neighbours animals -like sheep, goats, dogs or cats- and watch them die .this was his fun.

What sister Jabou is trying to get across to you is that America is no saint either they have nuclear weapons ,commited torture , killed native Indians and overthrew so amny governments in Africa and the world so we must not be blind to that .

Saddam must be contained or stopped but why all the BILLIONS  of dollars when our schoolkids do not have descent callsrooms (portables used  due to overcrowding) health care denied  to one third the US population, Budget cuts in everystate , prisoners released , not even to talk of the thousands of busineses failing on a daily basis and going abnkrupt . we need jobs not bombs.

I truely believe that if Bush really wanted to get rid of Saddam he can do so by the old means a coup /or 007 type mission.

That is my personal opinion . and as INEVITABLE war approaches let us pray that many innocent lives do not go down in vain. Let Bush show the world his proof and we will all support him 100 %.

Good day

Brother Habib
