Jabou and Habib,

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt. About his lack of visit to Africa,
this is his 2nd year in office. So a visit is still possible. Besides, while
I agree that the symbolism of a visit is important, his pledge and if/when
it is carried out, would benefit the continent a lot more.

ps. he did visit the Gambia in 1990. I remember being really bummed out
because I didn't take part in the march. Yes, back in the primary/high
school days, those little things were important. :)
