Joe,

No misunderstandings whatsoever. Perhaps Dave Manneh and others did not see this message from Sister Soffie Ceesay when you posted your good complaint "five days since Waa's arrest and still no news..."
Soffie Ceesay wrote Oct, 7:

"Thanks Joe for stepping up once again. Any assistance to Waa and his family will be greatly appreciated. Saul Mbenga can receive the collected funds (let's hear you on this bro) or they can be sent to me. DC metro area folk who wish to assist Waa's family in these times, let me know and I will give you my contact info or meet with you.
Thank you to all who've voiced support for the cause for which Waa is being held. No justice, no peace! Complacency has no place in this drive to free ourselves from the clutches of the "bitter tomato" economist."

See, that is all the information I needed to write privately to Sister Soffie for an address and a bank account to which I could send a contribution. It is okay, and indeed helpful that you and Dave and others also help in the collection effort.

Chi Jaama,
Sidibeh
