"The UPDF is a strong army with the capacity to defeat the rebels, she said. Nankabirwa was addressing residents at Lira Coronation Park recently. She said the rebels were not targeting UPDF but civilians because they are revenging the Langi for refusing to support them. Nankabirwa said rebels were initially killing the Acholi only but they had started killing other tribes so that the international community recognises them as rebels. She said Kony has now come to Lango and Teso regions because there is no food in Acholi. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To Search in the Gambia-L archives, go to: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/CGI/wa.exe?S1=gambia-l To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
