Lamin:

This is indeed a great idea.  I am sure it will be helpful, especially for those in the accounting field.  Hopefully, it will mark the beginning of bringing all Gambians together regardless of their political differences to do something good for the country.

It is about time to take different approaches in solving Gambia's problems.  The one thing that certainly has not, and will not work is the unnecessary politicization of the process without putting forth alternatives that can help us develop the country.  I think we have all come to that realization.  Making political comments about what the government did or did not do right while we are thousands of miles away from the Gambia does not solve our problems back home.  One has to be on the ground joining hand-in-hand with those who have the nation's  interest at heart and are determine to make a change for the better.

So Lamin, while I do not know the details of how you intend to do in the future as far as this plan goes, I really think it is a wonderful and a great step in the right direction.  I thanks you and pray to Allah that many of the colleagues on the Gambia-L and beyond will emulate you and help in the process of uplifting the socio-economic, educational,... spirit of our beloved nation.

Lamin
