Ebrima, Tooma, this is the best New Years gift I ever had in my life....I feel vindicated...!!! This year should be the YEAR OF TRUTH! During his last visit to the US, Yaya Jammeh admitted that God made him the President of the Gambia....I was enthused about the divine irony in the truth of that statement. The trichotomy of human nature consists of the physical body, the soul and the human spirit. The triune in harmony defines the meaning of humanity. Reason through the ballot or force through the bullet will never root out the inherent evil of governments by men. This is why the American founding fathers in their struggle for independence 200 years appealed to a transcendent authority for their inalienable rights of life, liberty and property. They did not appeal to socialism, capitalism or another dogma for a moral justification of their cause but to Almighty G-d. Yaya Jammeh beliefs in G-d but he lacks grace and his spirit became impoverished the day he shed crocodile tears before Koro's mother who began narrating her pain of loosing her ONLY SON, the hope of her family... I will never forget that afternoon ( Yaya Jammeh, Blaise Jagne, Kaaba Bajo and myself were all present in that room)- This became the CURSE of all of us and the APRC. Jammeh needs motivation to do good. He can only escape his own prison through the moral effort of those who can communicate love and truth. Ebrima once again thank you for speaking the truth, and I hope many more will follow soon. Yaya should seek forgiveness from Koro's mother whose love, the very love that brought a precious son like Koro, shall inspire him to bring Koro's murderers to JUSTICE. Yaya's worst enemies are those closest to him... those who can only offer him silence when his humanity needs the truth truth in order to have faith in doing good. You all have a blessed New Year.
