Yes the local chief can and will enforce the rulings plus the lady can take it to the tubab banko area councils to impliment the ruling . remember those seyfos still have power to do a lot and their decisions are usually final women can go further to sue the men in a regular court of law if he does not comply and when enough lawsuits hit the men the message will be loud and clear . you can not take the women for granted as we will fight back
but as sis Ndey told you there are already many existing proceedures that these women just do not take advantage of even if they are male dominated as long as the sisters keep the pressure the dead beats will either comply or ship out in which case the women can take over the man's property if he defaults it is not easy even here with laws favorable to women best regards habib |
